FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My child isn't a part of a team, but wants to play in the RGB Youth League, can I sign up an individual?
Unfortunately no, in order to play in the RGB Youth League you must be part of a team that registers in the RGB Youth League OR to tryout for one of the RGB Youth League Select Teams.
My child is a different age than the class I want to register them for?
Please contact Jalen at jalen@rgbasketball.com in order for an evaluation to take place to see if your child would be a better fit in a different class.
My child tried out for the RGB Select Team program but did not make it. Is there another program I can enroll them in instead?
Yes! If your child was not selected for the Select Teams, the Skills & Play program is perfect for them! In this program, your child will be able to hone their skills with practices and real game action! Whether your child is looking to refine their skills or gain invaluable game experience, Skills & Play has something for everyone!
What is the difference between the Skills & Play Program VS the RGB Youth League/Select Teams?
Our Skills and Play Program focuses on improving the player. Whether you are trying to make your school or select team, work to become a starter, or be the best in the area, our students achieve tremendous gains by playing in our Skills and Play Program. They gain Skills in a weekly training/practice and then play in 8 inter-play scrimmages with refs to get better at their Game.
The Select teams are RGB-sponsored teams that compete in the RGB Youth League. Athletes must tryout for the Select teams, and will then take part in two practices a week and 8 league games over the course of the season.
